Final Days and Saying Goodbye

It’s hard to believe that the trip has come to a close! During our last few days of service, we painted murals around town and planted flowers and shrubs along the road that leads to the local swimming hole, Chaudiere Pool.

On our last day of service, we celebrated with a swim at Chaudiere and a trip to Red Rocks, a nearby nature preserve. Located in Pointe Baptiste, Red Rocks has incredible views of the Atlantic coast. Our guide showed us around and brought us to a small black sand beach, as well as the local chocolate factory where we enjoyed tasting different chocolates.

On our final day in Bense, we played water games and a match of soccer as well as had an awesome karaoke party! We will miss it.
