Greetings from Dominica!

Today, we continued work from yesterday. We woke up early to continue binding the wires together and got ready to lay the foundation. As a group, we shoveled gravel, mixed cement, and shoveled even more!

After a morning of work and a hearty lunch, we set off to speak with Thomas, who took us to Red Rock for a talk about his life and his experiences as a person and a baker in Dominica, before and after the hurricane. We ended the day washing clothes by hand (yay!), and eating dinner. We can’t wait for more adventures and to tell you all about it!
